Our Rookie Rankings have welcomed another fresh face following Round 11, while two players have moved up in our order following the weekend's action.

Collingwood's Joe Richards slots into sixth spot following an impressive start to his career, while fellow Magpie Lachie Sullivan, Hawks forward Calsher Dear, Lion Bruce Reville and Richmond's Mykelti Lefau all sit on the fringes a week out from further rankings expansion.

We'll move to seven spots in our Rookie Rankings after Round 12, opening up more opportunities for this year's crop.

Dear, Sullivan and Richmond's Seth Campbell each earned honourable mentions for their efforts in Round 11.

Selection Criteria:ย For ourย Rookie Rankings, we are ONLY selecting players who have made their debut this season.

Other players who may still be eligible for a Rising Star nomination but have already made their debut before the 2024 season will not be considered. I.e. Rising Star eligible players such as George Wardlaw, Angus Sheldrick and Sam Darcyย are ineligible, having already played anย AFL match before Round 1, 2024.ย

Honourable Mentions:
Seth Campbell (Richmond)
Lachie Sullivan (Collingwood)
Calsher Dear (Hawthorn)

2. Darcy Wilson (-)

Wilson is every shout to be the second best rookie of 2024 behind long-time leader Harley Reid, with the Saints wingman a continued positive in an underwhelming St Kilda unit.

The teenager managed another 18 disposals and a goal in sharing his role between the wing and half-forward, with Wilson looking as though he's a 100-gamer halfway through his first season.

Wilson was also accurate with his ball movement at 88% efficiency, while he collected almost 400 metres gained for the evening.

The Saints will hope for a return to form this weekend, however their next game comes against West Coast in WA on Saturday.
