Collingwood is reportedly targeting Adelaide list manager Justin Reid as a potential replacement for Graham Wright as the club's head of football manager.
Wright initially vacated the position following the Pies' 2023 triumph but was convinced to stay on the books and take a year-long "sabbatical".
However, the former Collingwood premiership player opted to shop around the league and subsequently landed at arch-rivals Carlton as their soon-to-be CEO.
During the 2024 season, Pies assistant coach Brendon Bolton filled in the role as the club undergoes a reshuffling ahead of next season.
The interest in Reid, per AFL Media, comes leads the Crows' list management and strategy ahead since the club's 2015 campaign, which followed 14 years as a player manager under TLA Worldwide (previously known as Elite Sports Properties).
Collingwood president Craig Kelly founded the company in 1996 and was still directly involved in the organisation up until two years ago.
Reid has had success in luring star talent to Adelaide during his tenure, inclusive of Bryce Gibbs, Jordan Dawson, Izak Rankine, Isaac Cumming and Alex Neal-Bullen, while GWS midfielder James Peatling is also expected to make the switch this off-season.
The Crows list manager also played vital roles in drafting Josh Rachele, Darcy Fogarty, Chayce Jones, Riley Thilthorpe, Jake Soligo, Max Michalanney and Dan Curtin, who pose as the future of the club.
The Pies had also reached out to Port Adelaide GM Chris Davies and Brisbane football boss Danny Daly for the role, but the pair have decided to remain put.
It comes as the club farewelled CEO Jeff Browne after his three-year stint at the helm.
