Collingwood is reportedly set to meet with Western Bulldogs legend Robert Murphy in regards to luring him to the AIA Centre for a key off-field role.
The Pies have had a sea of change in their structure, with president Jeff Browne, assistant coach Brendan Bolton and list boss Graham Wright departing the club.
The 2023 premiers are set to rejig their football department, with Collingwood tipping a role for Murphy after missing out on Port Adelaide's Chris Davies and Brisbane's Danny Daly, according toย Herald Sun's Jay Clark.
CEO Craig Kelly is also weighing up a play for Adelaide list manager Justin Reid.
Murphy, who captained Western Bulldogs amid a sparkling 312-game career, has returned to Victoria after spending three years at Fremantle in various roles, including head of football and performance and leadership boss.
Murphy is a popular and highly-respected figure in football for helping lead the Bulldogs from the bottom reaches of the ladder to the 2016 premiership.
He didn't play in the 2016 Grand Final after suffering a torn ACL but was given Luke Beveridge's premiership medallion.
It is understood that Murphy was considering a return to the footy media.
Collingwood is yet to confirm its coaching structure for 2025.
