Luckless Cat Daniel Menzel will finally make his long awaited return this weekend against Collingwood.
Menzel has not played a senior game for Geelong since rupturing his ACL in the qualifying final against Hawthorn in 2011. He has since had a further three knee reconstructions.
The Cats officially announced Menzel's return this afternoon.
"I found out earlier in the week and just had to get through training," Menzel told CatsTV on Thursday afternoon.
"I still am extremely excited, but I guess the nerves and everything else will kick in pretty soon too."
