A heap of contracted players have been tied to moves elsewhere, while the small forward market is heating up.

The first trade request of the off-season came just three days after the home and away season ended, with Dockers wingman Liam Henry requesting a move away from Cockburn.
While a destination hasn't been set, Henry looms likely to land in Victoria, with several clubs from the footy-centric state said to have the unsigned Docker in their sights.

Essendon midfielder Darcy Parish turned down reported interest from Geelong to recommit to the Bombers until the end of the 2028 season.
The restricted free agent had hit a standstill in negotiations with the club recently, but has managed to broker a deal with the Dons to extend his stay in the red sash.

Essendon is expected to meet with North Melbourne youngster Tarryn Thomas as the Roos midfielder assesses his options despite being tied to Arden Street for the 2024 season.
Bombers coach Brad Scott was with the Kangaroos when Thomas joined the club as a top 10 pick, and would hand the flashy onballer his debut.
Any move for Thomas is likely to cost the Bombers a pretty penny if they wish to secure the 23-year-old's signature.

Contracted Gold Coast forward Mabior Chol has emerged as a shock trade option for rival clubs following just two years with the Suns.
Chol left Richmond at the end of the 2021 season and will now reunite with former Tigers coach Damien Hardwick at Carrara, however the key forward is said to be gettable for the right price.
Multiple reports have suggested Chol, who is contacted until the end of 2025 season, could gain some interest as Gold Coast prepare to shape their list under the incoming Hardwick.

Adelaide could ruffle Port Adelaide's feathers as they look to join their state rivals in the race for unsigned Essendon defender Brandon Zerk-Thatcher.
A South Australian, Zerk-Thatchers has recently been flagged as a strong chance to join the Power, who have also been linked to Geelong's Esava Ratugolea.
The Crows, who are likely to require assistance for their backline to start next season due to injuries, have emerged as a suitor for the reportedly Departing Bombers backman.

Hawthorn small forward Tyler Brockman is said to be nearing a call to request a move back to his home state of Western Australia this off-season.
Brockman enjoyed a strong third season in the brown and gold but has held off recommitting to the club, with a potential move to West Coast now in consideration.
The small forward's desire to head west could help the Dockers potentially broker a deal that would see Liam Henry land in Victoria, and potentially with the Hawks.

Hawthorn are said to be circling Western Bulldogs star Bailey Smith, with the Waverley club reportedly prepared to strike if the midfielder seeks a move away from Whitten Oval.
Smith, who is signed to the Dogs until the end of next year, is reportedly seen as a potential trade target, while the Bulldogs have stood firm in their belief he will be at the club next year.
The former Pick 7 selection could demand a pair of first-round picks in negotiations if he is to pursue a move away from the Kennel.

Port Adelaide forward Mitch Georgiades has reportedly signed a four-year contract extension at Alberton Oval.
7 News Perth's Ryan Daniels revealed this week that Georgiades has turned his back on interest from Western Australian and Victorian clubs to extend his stay with the Power through to free agency.
The new deal will lock Georgiades away until the end of the 2027 season.

Former Mid-Season Draft No.1 pick Jacob Edwards could be part of a ruthless list cull at the Kangaroos this off-season, with the uncapped tall yet to be re-signed at Arden Street for 2024.

Hollands struggled to cement his place at AFL level under Stuart Dew this year before the coach's sacking, with the Murray Bushrangers product managing a strong of games after his departure.
The young midfielder fell back out of the Suns' side, with his situation piquing the interest of Victorian rivals.
