"The Devils are hungry for premiership glory."
"We won't stop until the cups part of our history."
These are words from an "unofficial" team theme song created for the incoming AFL Tasmania Devils side, thanks to American Band, The Feeble Singers.
The Devils are set to take their place in the competition ahead of the 2028 season as momentum continues to build surrounding the soon-to-be 19th club.
The band was tracked down by Tasmania's Chilli FM Breakfast hosts Adam and Issy, who founded a similar themed song for the North Texas Devils, a team in the USAFL who has been using the old VFL Tasmanian logo.
The Feeble Singers offered to "make a whole new song" that slightly differed from the American version, centring around the hunt for premiership glory.
It was only last week that plans for the new Macquarie Point Stadium designs were revealed, which included a roof, 23,000 seats and a "woven-style" timber facade that embodies the precinct's maritime heritage and its history as a rail yard.
