Collingwood tall Mason Cox is open to taking a pay cut in 2021 to remain a Magpie past next season.
The key forward triggered a clause in his contract that extended his stay at the Holden Centre and will earn him close to $550,000 for next year.
"An extension of his deal is definitely an option at the moment โฆ that has been discussed (with Collingwood)," Cox's manager Adam Ramanauskas said on RSN.
"You can flatten out a (2021) deal. Absolutely, that is an option."

The Magpies are battling a tight salary strain with Adam Treloar, Jaidyn Stephenson and Tom Phillips all listed as gettable.
Ramanauskas also touched on his client Ben Brown, who requested a trade to Melbourne last week, revealing a deal isn't far off.
"It will happen โฆ it might not be today, but it will definitely happen," he said.
"It would have been done on day one if it was my decision."
