Murray, who is the younger brother of ex-Swan and Magpie Sam, was signed by the Crows during the pre-season supplemental selection period.
โWeโre delighted to have Nick at the Club and now officially on the list,โ Adelaide General Manager List Management and Strategy Justin Reid told the club website at the time.
โHe has been on our radar for some time and in January we had the opportunity to bring him to the Club and see him on a daily basis while training with the rest of the squad and he hasnโt put a foot wrong.
โNick is a versatile player and has been training as a key defender and thatโs the role we see him developing into.โ
Murray was set to play for Williamstown in the VFL last year before the COVID-19 pandemic hit Victoria, causing him to return to New South Wales to play for the the Riverina Football League's Ganmain Grong Grong Matong.
He played in both of Adelaide's pre-season games but missed the club's shock Round 1 upset win over Geelong through injury.
The Swan and Crows meet at the SCG this Saturday at 1.45pm AEDT.
