Adelaide duo Kieran Strachan and Lachlan Gollant have signed new contracts with the Crows, remaining at West Lakes until the end of the 2023 and 2022 season respectively.
Strachan, who has played three games for Adelaide since joining the club via the 2019 rookie draft, has shown promising glimpses in the ruck as a reinforcement for first-string tall Reilly O'Brien.
The 25-year-old made his debut against North Melbourne last year and added a further two games to his career late into this season after O'Brien was sidelined through injury.
Rewarded as the club's State League Club Champion for 2021 after a stellar season in the SANFL, Strachan stated his excitement to extend his stay with the Crows.
โItโs nice to have the security to work on my game for the next two years,โ He said via the club's announcement.
โAfter that last game (Round 23) was probably the best moment of my life and makes me super-excited for whatโs to come.
โWe have a really good young list along with the older guysโ experience so I definitely think weโre moving in the right direction.โ
Gollant joined Strachan to feature in Adelaide's Round 23 win over North Melbourne last month in what was the teenager's AFL debut.
The 19-year-old showed great promise as a forward for the Crows, booting one goal in what was a memorable night for the club.
