The Crows are nervously awaiting scan results for captain Chelsea Randall after the star forward suffered a hamstring injury late into Sunday's win over the Kangaroos.
Randall, who missed the entirety of the 2020 AFLW season through a knee injury, was seen clutching her leg after landing awkwardly in the final term of the 13-point victory.
The scenes were instantly concerning for the Crows, however the 30-year-old has diminished any thought of further damage to her knee.
"I just felt a little sudden tightness," Randall said post-game, via Fox Footy.
"So we will just have a little look at it this week and go from there.
Adelaide coach Matt Clarke stated his pleasure in Randall avoiding any serious damage to her knee, however the reality of spending some time on the sidelines could emerge should the hamstring strain be more severe than initially thought.
“We’ll wait and see, but it might be a minor little hammy,” Clarke said per News Corp.
“Whether it’s a full strain or she just got tight, we don’t know yet.
“Obviously, she came off the ground and wasn’t able to go back on so that’s always a concern, particularly when it’s your captain.
“But it’s not the knee … straight away we were pretty confident about that. There’s no concern on that front.”
Randall amassed seven possessions and four tackles as the Crows continued their perfect start to the season, handing North Melbourne their first loss to the tune of 5.7 (37) to 3.6 (24).
The Adelaide skipper wasn't the only injury concern of the match, with ruck Caitlin Gould set to enter the AFL's 12-day concussion protocol period after suffering a head knock in the fourth stanza.
A majority of Clarke's list remains in good health so far this season, with the Crows having entered Sunday's match at Norwood Oval unchanged from their Round 1 victory over Brisbane.
Defender Dayna Cox is the most salient injury concern at West Lakes, with the 28-year-old set to spend another month out of action after undergoing an arthroscope on her knee.
