Nick Dal Santo has praised veterans Justin Westhoff and Jarrod Harbrow for their performances to start the season.
Westhoff was influential in Port Adelaide's surprise victory over Melbourne in round one, while Harbrow was key in Gold Coast's three-point win over Fremantle last week.
“Round 1 is Justin Westhoff from the Port Adelaide Football Club,” Dal Santo told SEN Afternoons.
“18 disposals, nine marks, five goals, four contested marks and six inside 50s for a man that is apparently done and dusted – I thought he was absolutely superb.”
Harbrow has been an important player for the Suns since their inaugural season in 2011, becoming the first Sun to reach 150 games and the inaugural player to be inducted as a life member.
Dal Santo credited the 30-year-old for his performance in the Suns' victory over the Dockers in round two.
“For a team that hardly ever wins; haven’t won a game since Round 18 last year against the Sydney Swans, 32 disposals, nine marks, 12 intercept possessions, seven inside 50s – he did it all," Dal Santo said.
"He is elusive; he does it on the last line of defence, he does it 30 metres out from goal straight in front.”
