Carlton Football Club President Mark LoGiudice has set the record straight announcing that the highly publicised external review of Carlton's football department is not set to solely focus on the position of Senior Coach David Teague.
Teague and his coaching panel will all come under review following the Blues' 4-8 start to season 2021.
After showing promising signs in 2020 there was a strong belief that the former Blue and Roo could coach this playing group to its first finals series since 2013.
Teague has coached 39 games after stepping in as interim coach following the departure of Brendan Bolton.
LoGuidice spoke to journalist, Mark Robinson on Tuesday evening and stated that this review would "leave no stone unturned." However, LoGuidice confirmed that it was "not a coaching review".
โI want to be very categoric here, this is not a review of the coach, this is a review of the football department,โ LoGiudice told theย Herald Sun.
โWe are not in denial, weโve got to do whatโs in the best interests of the Carlton Football Club at all times.
โThereโs no panic here, I promise you.โ

LoGuidice is set to step down at the season's end and will be replaced by Luke Sayers.
Despite these moves, AFL 360 host, Gerard Whateley labelled LoGuidice's comments as both "counter-intuitive" and "illogical".
However, Carlton veteran, Eddie Betts spoke to Whateley and Robinson on Tuesday night, and claimed that the mid-season bye is the "right time" for this review to take place.

Betts stated that the scrutiny falling on Teague is "unfair" and pointed to the playing group to take some responsibility.
โWe, as players, need to take some responsibility as well because weโre out there playing footy,โ Betts told the Fox Footy panelists.
Mark Robinson concluded that he expected Teague to hold his position throughout his contract which extends to the end of 2022.
โMy belief is that David Teague will remain as senior coach and โฆ there will be a pretty severe clean-out of the assistant coaches,โ Robinson said.
โI donโt think Carlton want to continuously sack the coach. There is something wrong at Carlton and has been wrong for many, many years.
โPart of this review into all aspects of the football department is going to include one very, very difficult aspect โ which is really hard to grasp โ and thatโs culture and environment.
โWhat is the Carlton culture? And why has it been existing for so long that all these good, smart football people canโt get its group to succeed?โ
The Blues will enjoy the bye in Round 13 before facing Leon Cameron's Giants on Saturday June 19 at 7:25pm AEST in Sydney's west.
