Adelaide key defender Mark Keane has acted coy when quizzed on a potential Collingwood reunion.

Keane - who played five games for the Pies across 2020 and 2021 as a Category B Rookie - has had strong links to his former club as a replacement for the retired Nathan Murphy.

The 24-year-old is contracted with the Crows until the end of 2025 and has put together some career-best form under Matthew Nicks.

However, Keane has neither confirmed nor denied where his future lies despite some reports indicating a return to the AIA Centre.

โ€œI'm contracted here for next year, but just holding off on stuff until the end of the season,โ€ Keane said on SEN SA Breakfast.

โ€œWe'll see what happens there.

โ€œI'm not too sure how that kind of stuff works so I'll hold off on that and wait until the end of the season,โ€ he added.

โ€œI just want to focus on playing footy, so we'll just see how that goes.โ€
