WAFL club Perth looks to have swooped on delisted Fremantle teenager Conrad Williams for the 2025 season.

Williams departed the Dockers this off-season after two years on Fremantle's list. The club decided against offering the 19-year-old a new deal in September, along with Matt Taberner, Ethan Hughes, and Sebit Kuek.

A product of the Dockers' Next Generation Academy, Williams did not make his AFL debut during his pair of seasons in purple. Instead, he played for WAFL affiliate Peel Thunder at both the league and reserves levels.

After joining Fremantle from Claremont as a rookie addition, Williams played six games for Peel's seniors and a further 21 for the Thunder's reserves across his two seasons in the Dockers' system.

Williams played just the one league game for Peel in 2024, amassing nine disposals and two tackles against East Fremantle in Round 1.

The Wembley Downs product now looks set to continue his career in the WAFL, with the Demons seemingly signing the young forward for next season. A new profile for Willams has emerged on Perth's website, while no announcement has been made by the club.

Williams joins former Geelong-listed trio Sam Simpson, Charlie Constable and Blake Schlensog in bringing time from the AFL system to the Demons.

The ex-Docker's expected arrival at Perth comes as the club enters a new era, having appointed Mark Stone as senior coach from 2025.

Stone has replaced the departed Peter German, who resigned from his role in August after two years as coach.

The Demons managed just four wins this year, finishing in ninth and ahead of wooden spooners West Coast on percentage.
