Essendon has met with two delisted free agents about a potential move to the club.

Former Swan Xavier Richards and ex-Lion Josh Green have spoken to the club and met team officials, coach John Worsfold confirmed on Tuesday morning.

โ€œIโ€™ve spoken with both of those guys,โ€ Worsfold told SEN Radio.

โ€œTheyโ€™ve been out to the footy club and weโ€™ve had a chat to them and shown them around the facilities.

โ€œThere are a couple of others that weโ€™ve spoken to as well. Weโ€™re doing our usual work to make sure weโ€™re all over all possibilities and all players that are available.

โ€œWeโ€™re meeting this morning, as a list management (team), to finalise those decisions.โ€

Richards played 12 games in four seasons with the Swans, while Green played 81 games in six seasons at the Lions.
