Recently delisted Port Adelaide forward Quinton Narkle is reportedly expected to land at Fremantle this off-season.

The 26-year-old was one of five players cut by the Power on Monday, with Tom Clurey, Francis Evans, Thomas Scully and Kyle Marshall also departing Alberton.

The list cull sees Narkle's time in South Australia come to an end after 16 games for the Power, who recruited the agile attacker via the 2023 Mid-Season Draft.

Narkle joined Port Adelaide following six years at Geelong, where he played a further 41 games to start his career.

The Perth product is now tipped to land at a third club in the coming months, with the Dockers emerging as a likely landing spot for Narkle, per The West Australian.

A move to Fremantle would see Narkle return to his home state and be listed alongside close friend Shai Bolton, who was traded to the Dockers from Richmond last week.

The lifeline would add to Narkle's journey since being delisted by the Cats in 2022, with the 57-gamer having also trained for a list spot at Richmond and featured for Essendon's VFL since.

It is expected the Dockers will sign Narkle as a rookie via the Supplemental Selection Period, which will open after the draft's conclusion, as Fremantle look to use all three of their 2024 selections at the national intake.

Narkle's addition would be just the second for the Dockers following Bolton's trade deal, while the club has bid farewell to six players through either retirement or delistings.

West Coast are also a chance to lure one of Port Adelaide's cut contingent, with Clurey leaving the Power despite having a year to run on his contract.

The 30-year-old has been linked to West Coast but failed to find an exit during the trade period, only for the Power to approve an early departure for the key defender as he looks for opportunities elsewhere.

Like Narkle, Clurey can land at the Eagles via the SSP, through the Rookie Draft or as a delisted free agent.
