The Demons have officially delisted defender Kye Turner, informing the youngster he will not be offered a contract for the 2024 season.

The 21-year-old joined the fray at the beginning of the season as a Supplemental Selection Period signing in the pre-season, though couldn't manage a senior appearance.

While he played six games for Casey this season, Turner's year was largely marred by injury.

Melbourne list boss Tim Lamb expressed his thanks to Turner for his contribution to the Demons during his brief time at the club.

"On behalf of everyone at the club, we would like to thank Kye for all he gave to the program this year," he said as part of a Monday morning club statement.

"We wish him nothing but the best for the next chapter in his journey."

Turner's cutting is in addition to Melbourne's earlier delisting of Deakyn Smith.

James Jordon, Brodie Grundy, and James Harmes all also departed Melbourne this off-season during the recently concluded free agency and trade period.
