Melbourne has made the call to delist depth defender Adam Tomlinson, not offering a contract for 2025.
Tomlinson struggled to cement his spot in the Demons side, falling behind the likes of Steven May and Jake Lever, with Simon Goodwin opting to utilise Tom McDonald as well as Blake Howes and Harrison Petty.
As a result, the former Giant - who crossed after the 2019 season - played 45 games in the red and blue, including eight in 2024.
For most of his time at Melbourne, Tomlinson toiled away in the VFL for Casey Demons, featuring in 32 matches and the 2022 premiership.
Melbourne AFL List Manager Tim Lamb thanked Tomlinson for his commitment over the past five years.

Tomlinson has been linked with a move to Collingwood and St Kilda, with the pair of clubs keen to bolster their defensive stocks.
For the Saints, the 31-year-old will be acquired to fill the void of Josh Battle, who departed the Moorabbin club for Hawthorn via free agency.
As for the Pies, Craig McRae has gone on record declaring his side needs another key defender to replace the retired Nathan Murphy.
McRae has used Billy Frampton and Charlie Dean in the past 12 months to good effect, but the black-and-white team would benefit from a higher-quality player. Enter Tomlinson.
The Delisted Free Agency Period opens November 1st and runs until the 8th.
Tomlinson was initially recruited by GWS with pick No.9 in the 2011 National Draft. He made his debut the following year and played 140 matches before becoming a Demon.
