Details of a likely deal for Brisbane's Sam Marshall to move south have emerged.
AFL Media has reported that Marshall and Pick 39 will be traded to St Kilda for a future first-round pick.
It comes after the Lions refuted the initial offer of a second- and third-round pick earlier in the week.
Marshall was a Lions Academy graduate but also played junior footy for Sandringham Dragons, which are based at St Kilda's RSEA Park facility in Moorabbin.
He has been linked to a move to Victoria for much of the year as he seeks greater opportunity.

Marshall is a 2025 premiership player, but has played just 13 games since being drafted with Pick 25 two years ago.
His imminent arrival at the Saints follows Nick Blakey stating his preference to explore a move to North Melbourne despite the Saints being willing to offer three first-rounders for the contracted star under police investigation.
Ruck Rowan Marshall departed for Geelong earlier in the trade period for Pick 14.
