Young Fremantle defender Joshua Draper has been sent for scans following a hamstring concern from Sunday's intra-club session.
Draper took part in the Dockers' latest match simulation session but was not utilised after the main break, with his hamstring strapped, per The West Australian.
Fremantle have since confirmed Draper has been sent for scans on the concern after reporting 'hamstring awareness', with the scan results to be relayed in the coming days.
The potential setback would likely put a line through Draper's chances of featuring against Melbourne in Mandurah this weekend in what will be Fremante's final game of the pre-season.
The Dockers have 19 days until their Round 1 bout with Geelong at Kardinia Park, with a minor strain for Draper placing him in some doubt for that contest.
Fremantle are already without ruckman Sean Darcy (knee) for the start of the season, with dual-Brownlow Medal winner Nat Fyfe (knee) also in doubt for Round 1.
Small forward Sam Switkowski is in line to face the Demons on Sunday as he works his way through concussion protocols from a head knock sustained in the Indigenous All Stars game.
Draper's potential absence comes as skipper Alex Pearce nurses an ankle injury that has limited his February campaign.
The 21-year-old is coming off a strong debut season in 2024, playing 20 games under Justin Longmuir after making his debut in Round 2 against North Melbourne.
Draoper averaged 9.95 disposals, 4.00 marks and 1.85 rebound 50s last year while often going head-to-head with the opposition's best tall forward.
