Daisy Bateman is set to make the short trek from Arden Street to the Whitten Oval after the Western Bulldogs struck a deal to lure the crafty Kangaroo.
The Bulldogs have parted with Picks 72 and 90 to land the Oakleigh Chargers' product along with Pick 74.
Speaking in the wake of the deadline signing, Western Bulldogs AFLW Head of List Management and Recruiting Mick Sandry heaped praise on the 22-year-old.
“Daisy comes across to us having played 34 AFLW games and her experience for her age will be a great addition to our group,” Sandry told westernbulldogs.com.au.
“She is an excellent user of the football, has high footy IQ and is a proven goal kicker.”
Since making her debut in blue and white bars during Round 1 of the 2019 season, Bateman has slotted 22 majors from her 34 starts.
West Coast have traded forward Grace Kelly to St Kilda in exchange for Pick 54 in the upcoming National Draft.
After 23 appearances in the blue and gold, Kelly will head east to Moorabbin and join the likes of Nicola Stevens and Erin Mckinnon in joining Nick Dal Santo's side.
“We’re thrilled to welcome Grace to St Kilda,” St Kilda's AFLW football boss Tessie McManus said.
“Grace is a hard-running player who boasts incredible pace, which she has used to great effect consistently throughout her career.
“She has the ability to greatly enhance our forward line, but has also proven her ability to play along the wing or even in the ruck.
“We look forward to welcoming Grace to RSEA Park in the coming days and are very excited to see how she will complement our list this upcoming season.”
Kelly joined the AFLW as an international rookie from Ireland, having previously plied her trade with Mayo.
Hawthorn have secured a trade for North Melbourne midfielder Kaitlyn Ashmore in a deal that also included Richmond.
The Hawks confirmed on Tuesday that Ashmore will join the expansion club, with North Melbourne receiving Picks 23 and 41, while the Tigers gained Pick 32.
Along with Ashmore's services, Hawthorn have also acquired Picks 26 and 27 in the Victorian draft, continuing their strong list building ahead of next season.
“Kaitlyn is a proven outside ball-winner and one of the most experienced players in the AFLW,” Hawks AFLW list manager Mitchell Cashion said.
“We’ll look to her for some leadership and expertise in the brown and gold.”
Ashmore has played 49 games in the AFLW across stints with the Lions and Roos, including an All-Aust5ralian squad nod in 2017. 10

Gold Coast's Head of Women’s Football Fiona Sessarago thanked the four for their time at the club.
“We would like to extend our thanks to Kate, Jacqui, Britt and Cheyenne who were all foundation players for our AFLW program,” Sessarago said.
“All of these players have played a large role in establishing the foundations of our football program so we thank them for their service to the Gold Coast SUNS.

Phoebe McWilliams is heading to her third AFLW club after a successful stint at Geelong, traded in exchange for picks Nos.21 and 42.
The veteran forward played 31 games for the Cats, in addition to 14 at GWS, and has kicked 35 goals across her career, ending the season as leading goal kicker at the Giants twice (2017 and 2018) and at Geelong in 2022.
The acquisition of McWilliams stems a recent exodus from Carlton, with Madison Prespakis, Georgia Gee and Nicola Stevens among some of the names heading for the exit.
Richmond have secured the services of Carlton's Grace Egan in exchange for pick 25.

Geelong have traded young forward Olivia Barber to Collingwood in exchange for pick 33, after two seasons and ten games with the club.
Barber had a strong debut season for the Cats, kicking three goals, but struggled to make a significant impact in 2022 as she battled an ongoing knee injury.
The 19-year-old former state-level basketballer grew up supporting Collingwood.
“I would like to thank Geelong for the past two years and for giving me my first AFLW opportunity,” Barber said.
“As a Collingwood supporter, it’s always been a dream of mine to wear the black and white stripes so for this to now be my reality is very special. I can’t wait to meet the girls and begin this next chapter of my life as a Pie.”
The Saints have welcomed an All Australian to Moorabbin for season seven, with Erin McKinnon officially signing with the club.
A Giant since 2017, the 23-year-old has played 41 games with the club and kicked one goal, earning herself a spot in the All Australian side in 2018.

Brazzale made her debut for the Blues in 2017 and has gone on to play 41 games for the club. The 28-year-old fell out of favour in the later stages of season six, playing just five games across the season.
20-year-old Velardo has established herself as quite a versatile player since her debut in 2021, playing predominantly on the wing with the ability to swing forward or back.
Jackie Parry and Shelley Scott are officially Cats, with the Demons sending the two forwards to the cattery in exchange for Jordan Ivey and Pick 51.
Parry has kicked six goals across her 22 game career but struggled to find a consistent spot in Melbourne's senior side during season six. While Scott, the former co-captain, has been a steady influence inside the forward line since 2017, kicking 26 goals from 49 matches.
Melbourne have traded Krstel Petrevski and Isabella Simmons along with a fourth-round pick to the Eagles in exchange for pick 50.
Petrevski has played just four games across three years with the club after struggling with injury, now heading back to her home state in search of more opportunity.
