Melbourne premiership player Alex Neal-Bullen has officially joined Adelaide, with the two clubs agreeing to a trade deal on Monday that will see the small forward land at West Lakes.
The deal comes almost two months after Neal-Bullen's request to return to his home state of South Australia for family reasons was granted by the Demons, despite the 28-year-old having two years to run on his contract.
The Crows have sent Pick 28 - which was initially held by Melbourne - to the Demons in a straight swap for Neal-Bullen's services.
The defensively strong front-half threat brings 176 games and premiership experience to the Crows, with Neal-Bullen holding a role in Melbourne's drought-breaking flag win in 2021.
He will join a forward line that boasts Izak Rankine, Josh Rachele, Darcy Fogarty and Taylor Walker from 2025 as the Crows look to return to finals.
The trade exchange also sees Melbourne's draft hand now possess Picks 5, 28, 40, 48, 53 and 64 for the 2024 AFL Draft, while Adelaide now has just three selections at 4, 45 and 63 overall.
The arrival of Neal-Bullen adds to Adelaide's signing of GWS free agent Isaac Cumming last week, while Giants midfielder James Peatling is set to join the Crows this off-season after requesting a trade to the SA capital.
