West Coast have added St Kilda ruckman Tom Hickey, after losing premiership tall Scott Lycett to Port Adelaide earlier in the week.
The Saints receive pick 39 and a future fourth round pick for Hickey, while sending pick 60 and a future fourth round pick to the Eagles along with the ruckman.
Given Eagles star Nic Naitanui won't be unavailable until at least mid-2019 after tearing his ACL for the second time in Round 17, West Coast were lacking ruck depth with Lycett's departure.
However, Nathan Vardy will now have help in the shape of Hickey, who heads to Perth after six seasons with the Saints.
Hickey has 79 games to his name after two seasons at the Suns to begin his career, and played 13 matches in 2018, averaging 24.3 hitouts per game.
The 27-year-old also amassed a career-high 14.5 disposals and a career-best 4.5 clearances per game.
