Hawthorn have confirmed the acquisition of GWS midfielder Tom Scully.
The Hawks have landed Scully for a late pick, with GWS receiving Hawthorn's future fourth-round pick for the 27-year-old.
Hawthorn used the pick they received in the Jack Scrimshaw trade, and forwarded it on to the Giants.
Scully suffered a season-ending ankle injury in his first appearance of 2018, but has played 121 games for the Giants since moving to western Sydney after the 2011 season.
Over the course of his career, the elite two-way runner has averaged 21.2 disposals, 3.8 marks and 4.1 tackles per game.
