Brisbane have added defender Marcus Adams ahead of the trade deadline, after the Dog made the move up north.

Despite having two years to run on his current deal, Adams asked for a trade to the Lions, and his request has been granted.

The Lions will send pick 32 to the Dogs in return for the 25-year-old, and a 2019 third round pick.

Adams has played 27 games for the Dogs over the past three seasons, but could only manage six appearances in 2018.
