Gold Coast have welcomed Geelong midfielder George Horlin-Smith to the club, after trading pick 59 to the Cats for his services.
The Suns could have picked him up in free agency, although that would have cancelled out their compensation for Tom Lynch, which is why they've traded for the 25-year-old.
Trade paperwork officially lodged.
Geelong Cats has traded George Horlin-Smith to the Gold Coast Suns for its Rd 4 selection, currently selection number 59 (on traded from the Brisbane Lions).
