Essendon have made further changes to its list in preparation for the 2017 AFL season.

Nick Kommer and Yestin Eades have both been told they are no longer required players at Windy Hill.

Kommer was drafted by the Bombers with pick 73 in the 2012 National Draft and has made 22 senior appearances since he made his debut back in Round 1, 2013 against Adelaide.

Eades did not made any AFL appearances for the Dons after being drafted to Essendon with pick 64 in the 2015 Draft.

General Manager of Football Rob Kerr thanked both players for their services during their Essendon careers.

โ€œNick is a wonderful young man and an extremely popular member of the playing group,โ€ Kerr said.

โ€œDespite the injury setbacks Nick has faced since arriving at the Club, he has always maintained professional standards and shown commitment in his approach to developing his football career.

โ€œNick is also a great role model and leads by example in his efforts within the community, in particular his work with Ladder โ€“ supporting young people at-risk or experiencing homelessness.

โ€œYestin has a lot of raw talent and he will be given every chance to secure a spot on the Clubโ€™s rookie list in the upcoming rookie draft.

โ€œWe will continue to follow his journey and progress over the coming weeks.

โ€œBoth Nick and Yestin will always be welcome at the Essendon Football Club and we wish them all the best for the future.โ€
