St Kilda has been dealt a double-blow for their semi-final against Richmond with Paddy Ryder and Jake Carlisle unlikely to play on Friday night.
Ryder has all but been ruled out for the encounter due to a hamstring injury he suffered in the late stages of the Saints win against the Western Bulldogs.
The 32-year-old left the field in tears after a heroic performance that led the Saints to their first finals win since 2010.
They could also be without Jake Carlisle as the defender weighs up whether to leave the AFL bubble to be with his expectant partner for the birth of their child.
Carlisle was integral to the Saints containing Jack Riewoldt and Tom Lynch to three goals in their 26-point win over the Tigers in Round 4.
