The Western Bulldogs have been hit with a double injury blow with both Easton Wood and Lin Jong suffering hamstring injuries.

Jong went down with a high hamstring problem at training on Tuesday and his prognosis is currently unclear.

“It was during our match simulation session and he pulled up after accelerating,” Western Bulldogs medical services manager Chris Bell told the club website.

“We’re going to work through a process with Lin over the coming days to determine the extent of his injury and his return to play plan.”

Wood is suffering from low-grade hamstring tightness but is not considered serious.

The club expects him to be available for their second Marsh Community Series clash against Port Adelaide on March 7.

“In training Monday, Easton suffered some low-grade hamstring tightness,” Bell said.

“Being this time of year, we don’t want to take any risks with Easton, so we’re going to back off his training for a couple of weeks.”
