Richmond defender Nick Vlastuin and young Hawk Will Day have been handed one-match bans by the MRO.

Vlastuin has received his suspension after being charged with Striking Eagle Connor West during Sunday's match at the MCG.

The MRO viewed Vlastuin's hit on West as Intentional Conduct, Low Impact and High Contact, resulting in a one-game ban that Vlastuin can challenge at the Tribunal or accept with an early plea.

Day has been charged with Forceful Front-on Contact following an incident with GWS star Josh Kelly.

The incident in question occurred in the third quarter of the Hawks' loss to the Giants on Sunday, with Day collecting Kelly high while electing to bump the GWS midfielder while he was over the ball.

The MRO graded Day's actions as Careless Conduct, Medium Impact and High Contact, resulting in a one-match suspension.

Like Vlastuin, Day can choose to challenge the charge or accept it with an early plea.

Meanwhile, Richmond ruckman Ivan Soldo and his West Coast counterpart Nic Naitanui have both been charged and fined after wrestling in Sunday's match.

Both players can accept a $1000 fine for their actions.

Soldo can also accept a $2000 fine for his Tripping charge on Eagle Zane Trew.

Port Adelaide captain Tom Jonas has avoided suspension for his bump on Docker James Aish.

The MRO graded the Rough Conduct charge as Careless Conduct, Low Impact, High Contact, resulting in a $3000 fine.

Jonas can accept a decreased $2000 fine with an early plea.

Docker Caleb Sering was also sanctioned for Rough COnduct on Port Adelaide's Connor Rozee, with the Fremantle young gun able to accept a $3000 fine.
