West Coast has announced the departures of a further five names following its nadir wooden spoon season, announcing that none of Xavier O'Neill, Greg Clark, Connor West, Isiah Winder or Sam Petrevski-Seton will call the club home in 2024.

The delisting of the uncontracted quintet comes off the back of the Eagles' choice to cut ties with defender Luke Foley earlier this week.

Foley and Thursday's delistees will join club champions Shannon Hurn, Nic Naitanui and Luke Sheuy in heading for the exit after the latter trio decided to hang up the boots.

The recent list culls leave only Alex Witherden and Jai Culley as the only Eagles without contracts heading into next season.

Yet with Witherden earning a top-10 finish in West Coast's best and fairest and the jungle drums claiming a contract will soon arise for Culley, it appears as though the former powerhouse has completed its on-field bloodletting.

Speaking by way of an official club statement, Eagles GM Gavin Bell wished to pay thanks to the club's second wave of delistees.

"On behalf of the club I would like to thank each of the players for their contributions during their varying times at the club," Bell told Eagles Media.

"They have each left an impression on the club and we wish them every success in their future endeavours."

West Coast will now head to the trade table and the 2023 AFL Draft armed with picks 1, 19, 35, 38, 54, 57 and 75 in an effort to accelerate the club's rebuild.
