Mid-year Eagle recruit Jack Hutchinson may have found himself in unfortunately hot water in yesterday's fiery Western Derby.
His attempted handball smother on Andrew Brayshaw resulted in an awfully familiar collision to Brayden Maynard's incidental bump on brother Angus, and could too require further investigation from the MRO.
Interesting one to watch, Jack Hutchinson on Andrew Brayshaw. Similar action to the Brayden Maynard / Angus Brayshaw incident last year, which led to a change to the Tribunal guidelines regarding smothering. @FOXFOOTY pic.twitter.com/MNESOxqniM

Hutchinson braces for contact with the same action and consequently collects Brayshaw with a high shoulder collision, the Docker going down quite heavily, though thankfully not concussed.
It appears, since the incident 10 months ago forced a rule change over the off-season, that this hit should come under MRO scrutiny, unless the lack of a concussive outcome saves the Eagle.
The AFL will release their Saturday findings in ahead of the new week.
