West Coast's overhaul of its talent identification team has continued, blindsiding a trio of recruiters, including Trevor Woodhouse and Stephen Nash.

Woodhouse and Nash have both been with the Eagles for the better part of three decades, while Neil Ross was the third victim of the sudden culling.

The decision to sack the trio comes after a contentious trade and draft period, which saw the prized Pick 3 trade hands, landing at Carlton and, subsequently, Jagga Smith.

They also waved goodbye to club stalwarts Jack Darling and Tom Barrass.

The Eagles were able to snare local talent Bo Allan with Pick 16 whilst also securing Jack Graham, Liam Baker and Matt Owies.

Head of Football John Worsfold farewelled the trio.

"After an assessment of the List Management and Recruiting structure, which was finalised after the recent AFL Draft, new roles were identified to progress the club into the next level of data analytics as well as draft strategy and player movement," Worsfold said.

"This meant a restructure of the department, and, after years of dedicated service, Trevor Woodhouse has finished up with the club, while Stephen Nash and Neil Ross will conclude their time with us in December.

"Trevor is part of the fabric of the club and has been involved in all four AFL premierships, seven Grand Finals and countless finals series across 32 years in our recruiting department, where he helped identify champions of our club.

"Stephen's connection to the club runs deep. Over the past 30 years, his unwavering passion and commitment have been remarkable.

"Through his leadership, care and behind-the-scenes efforts, Stephen has been instrumental in building the club's legacy.

"Neil, during his two tenures with the club, has demonstrated a unique ability to connect with people and foster an inclusive, supportive environment.

"His passion for helping others has defined his approach, earning him the respect and admiration of both staff and players."

It comes as the West Australian powerhouse saw long-time list manager Rohan O'Brien part ways with his duties 12 months ago, opening the door to former Richmond employee Matthew Clarke.

The need to start fresh will also see Clarke gifted the freedom to help build his list management team.

At coaching level, West Coast appointed Marco Bello as the forward's coach for 2025, joining new Head of Development Jamie Maddocks and club greatย Shannon Hurn (Development Coach) on the panel.
