West Coast have revealed a major shuffle in their football department for 2022, with the club opening new roles after splitting their football boss position.

The Eagles confirmed on Monday that Gavin Bell and Ben Sharman were promoted to the roles of football manager and football operations manager respectively, with now-former football boss Craig Vozzo transitioning into the Club’s Senior Corporate Counsel.

Chief Executive Trevor Nisbett said the move rewards the longevity of service both Bell and Brennan have given the Eagles across their tenure, further adding to the exciting changes at Lathlain Park this off-season.

“After analysing the club’s performance across all departments in 2021, we have moved to make some changes we see as beneficial to the club’s overall operations,” Nisbett said in a club statement.

“Under this structure we have rewarded a number of very accomplished staff members with greater responsibility. At the same time we have elevated Craig Vozzo into the executive department of the club, where his legal and commercial skillset will be highly beneficial in dealing with the club’s legal and strategic needs.

“Combined with the arrival of experienced coaches Matthew Knights and Jarrad Schofield, along with the return of Daniel Pratt, we have also added Jacob Brennan to our development program and Robert Wiley as the senior coach of our WAFL Eagles.

“The football department is in good shape as we begin preparations for the 2022 season. There is a high level of energy and excitement among the players who have been training over the last couple of weeks.”

West Coast Strength and conditioning manager Warren Kofoed is also set to head the Eagles' fitness and medical.

Meanwhile, premiership Eagle mark LeCras has made the move across town to join Fremantle for the 2022 season, according to AFL.com's Nathan Schmook.

Having served as West Coast's training assistant this year, LeCras will link up with the Dockers as a specialist forward coach for the pre-season.

LeCras played 219 games for the Eagles between 2005-2018, featuring in the 2018 grand final victory and winning the club's leading goalkicker tally on two occasions.
