Midfielders

Stephen Coniglio (GWS)

2018 Averages: 28.3 disposals, 15.5 kicks, 6 tackles, 1.2 goals

The GWS star had lit up the Giants' midfield this year, not having a single game with less than 27 disposals and with seven goals on the year to boot.

Tom Mitchell (HAW)

2018 Averages: 37.3 disposals, 17.7 kicks, 19.7 handballs, 9.8 clearances

Tom Mitchell has well and truly solidified himself as the AFL's best ball-getter, leading the league in disposals and playing at a best-and-fairest level in the midfield for Hawthorn.

Jack Macrae (WB)

2018 Averages: 30.7 disposals, 17.2 kicks, 12.3 effective kicks, 23 effective disposals

The Bulldogs midfielder has been a picture of consistency from one season to the next, having not dipped under the 20-disposal mark in any game for over a year and a half and he's only getting better.
