West Coast youngster Liam Duggan will spend the next four weeks on the sidelines after succumbing to a nagging hamstring injury.

Duggan, who played 14 games in 2016, has reportedly suffered a grade two hamstring strain and has been restricted to light duties at training.

The 20-year-old will likely be forced to wait at least a month before being able to resume full training.

The injury will make Duggan's push for a permanent midfield birth in the Eagles' best 22 this season even harder, with the likes of Sam Mitchell, Luke Sheuy, Andrew Gaff and Matt Priddis set to form a formidable midfield group.
