Corey Enright has been honoured at Geelong's Hall of Fame function on Friday night, granted Legend status after an accomplished career at the Cats.
Enright played 332 games in the blue and white hoops, including the 2007, 2009 and 2011 premierships, and became the 27th Cat in Geelong history to earn Legend status.
Originally drafted with pick 47 in the 1999 AFL draft, the 40-year-old has gone on to become one of Geelong's most decorated players after his debut in 2021.
16 seasons with Geelong saw Enright earn six All Australian nominations and two club best and fairest awards, while also overtaking Ian Nankervis’ club games record prior to his retirement.
Enright hung up the boots in 2016, playing 23 games in that season.
While the former Cat was honoured on Friday night, current players Cam Guthrie and Mark Blicavs also received accolades. The two, who played in Thursday night's 28-point win over Melbourne, were granted Life Membership of the football club.
Enright officially departed the Cats in 2021, now working as an assistant coach under Brett Ratten at St Kilda.
