Essendon have unveiled their home guernsey for the 2022 season, a campaign that will see the club celebrate 150 years in the competition.

Following the announcement of their new logo to celebrate the anniversary, the Bombers will also don the historical emblem on the bottom-left of their new jumper.

The design - as described by the club - "showcases the 150-year logo as a woven patch, while a striking red trim adorns the sleeves and collar".

The new kit, designed by sponsor Under Armour, will also feature the club's motto Suaviter in Modo, Fortiter in Re.

The Bombers entered a new era under senior coach Ben Rutten this year, with the youthful side managing to land a surprising finals finish to claim eight-place on the ladder.

Essendon 2022 home guernseys are available to pre-order via their website.
