2. (2nd) Geelong

The Cats are set for another premiership tilt in 2025, and it should be no surprise with their stacked forward line.

Jeremy Cameron has Coleman medal potential and has been regarded by some as the league's best player, with his ability to move up the ground but still kick bags of goals.

The 31-year-old kicked six goals from 21 disposals against North Melbourne in Round 5 last year; the week before he kicked 2.4 from 25 disposals against the Bulldogs. Video game figures.

Add in Oliver Henry as a potent mid-sized target, as well as Tyson Stengle who was an All-Australian just over two years ago.

Bradley Close too averaged over a goal per game while up-and-coming mature-aged recruit Shannon Neale proved he has the capability to fill some of the hole left by retiring Tom Hawkins.

Shaun Mannagh's rise has been unprecedented and was a significant reason Geelong crushed Port Adelaide in an away qualifying final.

Then there's the goal assist machine Gryan Miers, whose unique kicking action delivers pinpoint accuracy.

The Cats averaged the third most points per game in 2024, but with their deadeye accuracy, they averaged the most goals per game.

With the likes of Patrick Dangerfield and Bailey Smith to also contribute additional goals to the scoreboard each week, Geelong are set to be one of the best attacking sides again in 2025.
