1. (1st) Greater Western Sydney

If you thought Geelong were stacked, then feast your eyes on the Giants' forward line.

It seems nearly faultless on paper, with a balanced mix of height, speed, X-factor and age profile.

Reigning Coleman medallist Jesse Hogan will remain the key target, however, it would be surprising if he was relied on so heavily in 2025. Aaron Cadman, 2022's number-one pick, will only continue to skyrocket in his development after a career-best year saw him kick 30 goals for the first time in 2024.

The skipper Toby Greene continued his assertion as GWS' best player of all time after a 44-goal, 27-assist season, while Brent Daniels arguably overtook his captain as the game's best small forward.

Jake Riccardi, Callum Brown and Darcy Jones will all continue to play a role inside 50 too, with the three combining for 55 goals last year.

And don't forget about Jake Stringer, who comes to the club off the back of a 42-goal season at Essendon, nearly taking the goalkicking crown off of Kyle Langford.

GWS averaged the seventh-most points per game in 2025, but expect that to rise with the Package's delivery to New South Wales. The deep pool of talent in the forward line could be the edge that avenges a heartbreaking straight-sets exit, and perhaps delivers a maiden premiership cup to Greater Western Sydney.
