Hawthorn

Liam Shiels

Despite a decorated trophy cabinet that consists of three premiership medallions, the Hawthorn onballer has long been deprived of individual accolades.

While Hawks fans will be happy to chew your ear off on this man's career, the deserved resignation he receives seems to be limited to the brown and gold faithful.

The 29-year-old has played 221 games under Alastair Clarkson and doesn't look to be slowing down ahead of his 12th season in the competition.

Shiels is the definition of a reliable two-way player, amounting 1288 tackles across his career to date, placing him 15th on the game's all-time list with plenty of time to move up the order.
