Western Bulldogs

Daniel Cross

A draft steal for the Doggies coming out of the 2000 National Draft, with Cross' name read out with the 56th pick of the night.

Another late-bloomer, Cross thrived in the absence of star midfielder Scott West in 2008 and soon had his placed secured in the Bulldogs' engine room, going on top win his only Charles Sutton Medal that season.

Cross ended 11 seasons with more than 20 possessions per game, including his final two years at the Demons, where his tackling and clearance workrate remained at a high standard.
