A renowned star when talked about out West, but when you drift closer to the east-coast, there's very little recognition and reward for the 244-game defender.

Across his 15 years in Purple, Johnson won one All-Australian selection (2013) and was part of Fremantle's 25 since '95 Team.

Now a life member of the club, his partnership beside fellow-club great Luke McPharlin was a forced to be reckoned with and offered plenty of fight against the league's best attacks.
