The entire AFL 2025 pre-season fixture is almost finalised, with the Community Series, Indigenous All Stars game and club-run match simulation sessions making up the warm-up schedule ahead of the coming campaign.
Fremantle's clash with the Indigenous All Stars at Optus Stadium in mid-February is set to be the opening affair of the pre-season.
Four match simulation sessions, which will be organised by the club involved and have differing formats, have been confirmed so far. Eight clubs are yet to be accounted for in the match simulation schedule.
Given Fremantle's earlier match, a three-club session including Gold Coast, Collingwood and Brisbane has been confirmed.
The 2025 Community Series will span from Tuesday, February 25 to Sunday, March 2 - giving fans just four days between the pre-season fixture finishing and the home and away season commencing.
