Retired Geelong veteran and premiership Bulldog Luke Dahlhaus has signed for Point Cook Football Club for the 2023 season.
He joins fellow 2016 premiership player Clay Smith, the newly appointed senior coach at Point Cook.
Dahlhaus hung up the boots this year after playing 225 games over a 12-year career, including 154 at the Bulldogs and 71 with the Cats.
He retires a premiership player despite being unable to break into a formidable Geelong side as they won the 2022 AFL Grand Final.
Smith retired in 2018, citing persistent injuries as the predominant motivator for his premature exit.
Point Cook Football Club announced the signing of Dahlhaus over social media, expressing excitement for the reunion.
"The Point Cook Football Club would like to introduce and welcome Luke Dahlhaus for the 2023 Season," the club post reads.
"The club is excited to have Luke on board for 2023 and believe his AFL experience will be a great asset to our young and emerging group".
