Collingwood has reportedly welcomed former Fremantle player Brady Grey to the club as an Indigenous player development manager.
Grey played 21 games for the Dockers after being selected with Pick 58 in the 2013 National Draft but continued with the WAFL-affiliated club Peel Thunder, securing a premiership in 2024.
The 29-year-old had a similar off-field role at Hawthorn in 2022, assisting the club with Indigenous player development and helping lead the inaugural AFLW team.
Later that year, Grey returned to Western Australia, re-joining Fremantle as a midfield and development coach.
It is understood that the Burnie Dockers product will take on a playing role as part of Collingwood's VFL program after departing the Thunder after seven years, according to AFL Media.
The Pies have featured across multiple racist allegations that resulted in the CEO Craig Kelly settling with a former employee.
Collingwood was also subject to an external investigation in 2020, which found systematic racism among the club, resulting in the 'Do Better' report.
