Former Collingwood list manager Ned Guy has secured a high-ranking position with the AFL.
AFL.com.au's Cal Twomey reported on Monday evening that Guy, who arrived at Olympic Park in 2017 and departed last year, is set to become the league's player movement manager.
Twomey also stated that as part of his new role, Guy would be reporting to ex-Kangaroos senior coach Brad Scott, who is now the AFL's football operations manager.
It is understood Guy will also oversee aspects of the player movement space in the AFLW.
Guy was Collingwood's list manager when the Pies infamously offloaded midfielder Adam Treloar and forward Jaidyn Stephenson during a turbulent 2020 trade period.
Since farewelling the Magpies in 2021, Guy hasn't been involved in AFL list management.
