West Coast draftee Willie Rioli could be sidelined for as long as 12 weeks after suffering a hamstring strain at training during the week.

The talented forward is expected to be forced to undergo surgery to heal the injury.

โ€œOur medical group has gathered all of the information and will meet on Monday to determine what course of action weโ€™ll take,โ€ Vozzo said.

โ€œItโ€™s a significant injury, but itโ€™s not a year out or anything like that. He will go through an extensive rehabilitiation period.โ€

โ€œItโ€™s a pity because heโ€™s been really good."

Rioli was selected with pick No.52 in the 2016 National Draft and is the cousin of Hawk Cyril Rioli and Tiger Daniel Rioli.
