As Port Adelaide captain Tom Jonas steps away from footy at the end of this season, the Power will be looking for the next man up to fill the departing skipper's shoes.
Since becoming captain in 2019, Jonas has led the side in 94 of his 215 games for the club over his career.
Unfortunately, Jonas hasn't quite been able to take his side to a grand final yet but has lifted the side to be one of the stronger contenders for the flag each season, even making the preliminary final twice as captain and looking at a possible third time this season.
So without him, who takes the reins as captain from 2024?
We've named five potential players that Port Adelaide are likely to consider.
2. Zak Butters
Butters is another that has turned up the heat for the Power with a career-best season currently in the works. Butters has put the league on notice with his skills, turning Port Adelaide's attack into one of the competition's best with abilities to find anyone on any angle.
Whilst he might not have much to show for accolades, you would expect that to change come the season's end after the performances he has been having throughout the year.
Over this year, Butters has collected 27.4 disposals, 5.0 marks, and 4.4 clearances per game and has the ability to hit the scoreboard that he has done 13 times throughout the season.
With a similar standing to Rozee, both players will be highly in contention to fill Jonas' shoes.
