GWS have had a pretty average season 2021, with the side not really progressing as they would have liked to off the back of their disappointing 2020.
Josh Kelly is rumoured to be out the door at the end of the year, and with injuries marring the side, the Giants will likely have to make some moves in the market this year.

We continue our โFive trade targets for every clubโ series withย GWS.
In no particular order, here are five players which the GWS recruitment team would do well to target and potentially poach.
3. Esava Ratugoleaย
The Cats big man has had a stunted start to 2021 through injury, but has finally gotten back into the side and has looked good value so far.
The 22-year-old ruck is able to effectively move around the ground and his incredible ability overhead is a real asset to Chris Scott's side.

However, Ratugolea hasn't exactly had the game time he would've been hoping for at the Cats, and might be looking for an exit with his contract up at the end of the year.
With GWS' ruck options set to reduce at the end of this year with Shane Mumford tipped to retire, it looks like there could be an opening for another tall in Leon Cameron's side.
Should Ratugolea continue to be in and out of the Geelong side, then the Giants could definitely twist his arm into making the move north.
